后摇作为摇滚与古典融会贯通的平台再合适不过，于是有提琴后摇和键盘后摇交相辉映。在诸如 Sigur Rós，GYBE,D3,Detwiije、Sweek、Balmorhea、Hrsta等弦乐后摇巨擘中个人最热爱Yndi Halda,其次The Evpatoria Report：标准吉他后摇架构的宏伟壮阔中由于小提琴的加入而显得跌宕起伏，悠远绵长。
提琴系中也不乏阴郁自赏派如Slow Six、Invert，但总觉的少了三大件的支撑，显得单薄。
